Be care-ful what you wish for!

The Conservatives in Wales don’t seem to be telling you the whole truth about Care provision. It may depend a little on what your definition of privatisation is, but take a look at what’s happening to Care provision in Wiltshire before you make you’re mind up who to vote for in the coming Assembly elections.

Wiltshire’s a Conservative authority and it’s not the first in England to give a large Care contract to Virgin Care.

Some people might say, ‘what’s the problem’? There’s not much evidence however that private business can provide the same service for less cost without cutting the services being provided, and the wages of their staff.

Should Care providers be creaming money off to pay profits and dividends, and does Virgin Care pay it’s proper share of tax, (or is it another of these tax dodging, ‘oh no it’s all perfectly legal’, Corporations)?
